A young US Marine Sergeant named John Wiley Dickerson, from North Platte, Nebraska, is faced with mysteries concocted by his Uncle John. Believing that all he owns is a portrait of his Uncle John, a sea bag full of used clothes, and a new Ford 150 pick-up truck, young Dickerson ultimately realizes the portrait is an encoded map.
